With the 2012-2013 NHL Lockout finally over, and the memorandum of understanding as well as collective bargaining agreement signed by both the NHL and NHLPA, the schedule for the truncated 48-game season was finally release for each team in the league.

Every team, including the Bolts, will play 48 intra-conference games, with no games played against the opposing conference until the Stanley Cup Finals, likely sometime in late May.

Tampa Bay opens their season at home against the Washington Capitals on Saturday, January 19 at 7PM ET. Their final game will also be at home against a division rival: Saturday, April 27 against the reigning Southeast Division champion Florida Panthers.

The Lightning will play 5 nationally (U.S.) televised games on the NBCSports Network this season, including a matchup on Tuesday, February 5 against the Philadelphia Flyers in Philly.

The Bolts and Flyers played a now infamous match on NBCSports last season, where Pierre McGuire called Steven Stamkos and Martin St. Louis "cowards" for playing Guy Boucher's 1-3-1 system.

The other nationally televised match-ups include a pair of road games against Pittsburgh and home tilts against the Flyers and Penguins again. Tampa Bay will also have a home game on March 16 against the Carolina Hurricanes on the NHL Network.
