The Tampa Bay Lightning have acquired left winger Jean-Francois Jacques from the Florida Panthers in exchange for future considerations.
The move comes only a few days after Syracuse Crunch forwards Cory Conacher and Pierre-Cedric Labrie were kept up with the Tampa Bay Lightning for the start of the 2013 NHL season.
Losing Pierre-Cedric Labrie up front made the Crunch a little bit smaller and easier to play against.
At 6'3, 231 pounds, Jacques is a big body up front.
Jacques provides forward depth and size to the Crunch, a team he played for a season ago as a member of the Anaheim Ducks organization, recording 40 points and 95 penalty minutes in 65 games played.
