The Flyers continue the Eastern Conference tradition of a Sunshine State back-to-back, as they faced the Florida Panthers last night in Sunrise.
This meeting will mark the first between the Flyers and the Lightning since Matt Carle came from Philadelphia to Tampa Bay as a UFA this offseason.
Carle was a member of the Flyers during the now infamous match-up between these two teams last season wherein Philadelphia head coach Peter Laviolette instructed his team not to move the puck against the Bolts' 1-3-1 formation.
With goaltender Illya Bryzgalov getting the nod in net against the Cats, it is possible that we will see Michael Leighton get his first start in the NHL in 2013. This could be good news for the Bolts since they just shelled Ottawa's backup goaltender Ben Bishop on Friday. Flyers coach Peter Laviolette may turn to Bryzgalov to make his sixth straight start on the season.
As per Erik Erlendsson of the Tampa Bay Times, Lightning head coach Guy Boucher will go back to Anders Lindback in net against the Flyers.

The Lightning will look to find a way to stop the bleeding in the second period, where they have been outscored 10-3 in four games this season.
No skate today for Lightning but lots of video to try and figure out 2nd periods. Outscored 10-3. In 1st and 3rd, Tampa Bay has 16-2 edge

All five goals scored by the Flyers this season heading into the 7-1 dismantling of the Panthers had been scored in the second period.
The Bolts will definitely look to improve their play in the middle frame but it will also be important to jump on this Flyers team early who will be playing their second game in as many nights
Another quick start and an early lead might be enough top put a tired and banged up Flyers squad away.
Puck drops at 6:00 PM EST.Tags: Hockey, NHL, Philadelphia Flyers, Tampa Bay, Tampa Bay Lightning
